Scope and content

Department: W.& E. Supt. W.W. & E.L. Dept. is requesting Admiral Supt. to supply his Dept. with 10 cwts of soft wood sawdust of an eclosed sample. A larger grain than that of the sample would not be objectionable. Admiral Supt. replied that he could not supply the item requested because all available sawdust from H.M. Dockyard was disposed of under the terms of a standing contract. He also supplied the name of the contractor as being Mr. Cordina of Cospicua.
