Department: Minute. Superintendent of Public Works is being requested to send the Return of Outstanding Documents for the Quarter ended 31st December 1899 and he was to note that such returns were to be sent not later than the 14th day of the months of January, April, July and October. - Superintendent replied that returns had been sent on the 9th instant but owing to the great number of papers that pass through his Office he was requesting to be exempted from sending these returns quarterly as they took considerable time to prepare, and therefore was requesting that these returns be sent at the end of each year.
