Department: Post Office. Postmaster General is stating that owing to the increased hours of attendance and the additional work entailed by the present mail service, the deficiency of two Clerks in the Establishment was being considerably felt and was making it difficult to properly attend to the requirements of the public which difficulty was further increased when one of the staff was absent on account of sickness, which was becoming more frequent due to the constant strain imposed, therefore he was requesting that these vacant post be filled up as soon as possible.
