Supt. is reporting that following the death on the 18th of ex Police Sergeant Carmelo Sultana who was employed as Gatekeeper of the Palace Armoury he was recommending that this position be filled by ex Police Sergeant Vincenzo Agius who was invalided in consequence of injuries received while on service. The rate to be paid to him would be of 1s per diem irrespective of his pension with deduction on account of sickness.
