Department: Consular. British Consul General of Tripoli is writing informing of the death of Salvatore Cini, known as "Isussi" (his sister states that he was known as "Issudi") aged 59 years a fireman who had died on the 2nd instant having no relative in Tripoli. He was a native of Senglea where he was informed resided his only sister named Teresa Ferro living at 12, Strada Vittoria and in poor circumstances. Consul was enclosing the sum of £9.4.2. being monie found in possession and the proceeds of sale of effects of the deceased. He was also enclosing a copy of a Passport issued on the name of the deceased together with a letter received from his sister. (Both documents included in file).
