Theme: Agriculture. Carmelo Cortis was born on the 25th of September 1953 in Rabat. He had 10 siblings. His father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife. For over forty years Carmelo worked as a part-time farmer. He lived in Imtarfa and Rabat and had 3 children, Benny, Stanley, and Odette (Agius).

Theme: Agriculture in the 1880s - 1930s. Censu Borg 'Tal-Lira' was born in 1921 at Luqa. Throughout his life Censu had always worked in the fields. His father used to work the fields while his mother used to sell vegetables. Censu had started to work the fields, which were rented from the government, together with his father and his brother. Censu had 6 children, 5 boys and a girl and had always lived in Luqa. At the time of the interview he was doing minimal work in the fields, his sons had taken over.

Theme: Life of a Farmer. Coronato Calleja, known as Kurnatu, was born on the 3rd of October 1942 at Victoria, Gozo. He had 10 siblings. His father was a full time government employee and a part-time farmer whilst his mother was a housewife. Kurnatu had emigrated to Sydney and Queensland, Australia as a sugarcane worker for more than 5 years. When he came back to Malta he started working at 'Ta' Cenc' until he found a full-time government job and kept farming as a part-time job. Apart from the time he spent in Australia, he used to live in Victoria and Kercem, Gozo. He had a daughter and at the time of the interview he was a pensioner.

Theme: The Craft of Farming in the Past and How it Changed. Filomena Bugeja (nee Vella) was born on 21st February, 1927 at Bingemma, Mgarr. She had 5 siblings. Her parents both worked on a farm. Her father died a few months after she was born. She worked on the farm as a child, then became a housewife. She had 9 children. Before she was married she was known as Ta' Mraden, after her marriage she was known as Ta' Borgu ta' Saver.

Theme: Life of a Farmer. George Mercieca was born on the 25th of December, 1927 at Ghasri, Gozo. He had 3 siblings. His father was a farmer whilst his mother was a housewife. His full time job was that of a stone mason whilst his part time job was that of a farmer. He had also spent 2 months in the U.K. working at an asbestos factory. Other than those 2 months he had always lived in Ghasri. He had 3 children and at the time of the interview he was a pensioner.

Theme: Agriculture. Grezzja Gauci was born on the 29th of October 1920 in Mellieha. She had 7 siblings. Her father was a farmer and her mother was a housewife. For 12 years (from the age of 11 till the age of 23) she worked in the fields. She had 7 children and lived in Mellieha and Mosta until she moved to an elderly home in Mosta.

Theme: Agriculture. Joseph Attard was born on the 22nd of April 1919 in Xewkija, Gozo. He had 8 siblings. His father worked a civil servant and his mother was a housewife. Joseph worked in the fields from the ages of 13 to 77. He kept living in Xewkija throughout his life and was a member of the village's section of the Society of Catholic Doctrine (M.U.S.E.U.M.).

Theme: Life of a Farmer. Joseph Refalo was born on the 23rd of November 1921 at Victoria, Gozo. He had 5 siblings. His father was a farmer whilst his mother was a housewife. For a time, in the 1950s he had emigrated to Sydney, Australia were he worked at a glass factory. He also moved to Queensland, Australia for a higher paying job. In Gozo he used to work for the government and as a farmer. Apart from the time he spent in Australia, he had always lived at Xaghra, Gozo. He had 12 children and his occupation at the time of the interview was still that of a farmer.

Theme: The Craft of Farming in the Past and How it Changed. Joseph Vella, also known as ' Tal-Kananku' was born on the 14th of May 1930 in Mellieha. He had 3 siblings. His father, Guzeppi, was a farmer and his mother, Rosanna, was a grocer. Vella was a farmer and spent a short time cutting stone. At the time of the interview he was retired but was still working in the fields. In the 1980s and 90s he had travelled to Australia (4 months), Canada (3 months) and Italy (2 weeks). Other than those times, he had always lived in Mellieha. Joseph had 8 children, 2 had already passed away. He liked swimming and hunting.

Maria Assunta Fenech was born on the 6th of May 1942 at Mgarr, Malta. She had 5 siblings. Her father worked for the British Services while her mother was a farmer. Maria Assunta had worked as a maid in the 1960s and as a health attendant in the 1970s. She had always lived in Mgarr.

Theme: Agriculture. Roza Gauci was born on the 30th of August 1914 in Zebbiegh. She had 13 siblings. Her father worked as a farmer while her mother was a housewife. Roza also grew up to work in fields situated in Zebbiegh and Ghajn Tuffieha. She had lived in Zebbiegh and Mosta.
