Magna Curia Castellania – CriminaleThe scrittorio (desk) of the elemosinarius of the Grandmaster was stolen in the night together with the money assigned to him for the pursuit of his duties. By means of investigation it was discovered that Bernardino Debono and Micheale Agius had made a false key and used it to break into the elemosinarius' office, took the desk, made it out of the palace, hid the desk in an underground room belonging to Margerita Fiamenzo under the house of Lorenzo Tholossenti. They then enlisted the help of Angelo Portelli who helped take the desk elsewhere. Michael Agius was sentenced to hang, Bernardino Debono was sentenced to row for life, being spared the hanging for his young age, and Angelo Portelli was sentenced to row for three years.

This was Federico Froqcg (either German or Italian), who was drunk and claimed that the woman had touched the dog (or door) of his master, who lived across the street. D'Argini managed to keep Federico out and bar the door, and Federico then discharged his firearm repeatedly and made menacing threats out in the street with his sword. Thuis took place close to the polverista behind the College of the Jesuits. Various testimonies collected.

Marcus Schembri, enslaved as part of a previous sentence, accuses Antonius Attard of attacking him with a sword after he tried buying radici from him. He had wanted to buy 6 bundles, but Attard gave him two and the fight happened in the ensuing argument.
Paulus Valletta from Valletta reports that he was assulted by Raffaele Farrugia close to the cavalry's stables in Valletta. He sought sanctuary in the Church of Our Lady of Damascus. The case was withdrawn by Valletta himself.
