The sepia-coloured image depicts St Francis of Assisi bearing the stigmata, being carried into heaven by three angels, one on each side and one at the back. Beneath his feet, there is a garland of flowers and flocks of sheep. On the sides, one can see a heavenly scenario. Assisi is also depicted in the background. This image is a memento commemorating the laying and blessing of the foundation stone of the Villambrosa Church in Hamrun, belonging to the Franciscan Minor Friars. On the back of this image, one can find an appeal for donations.
