Dates covered: 1928-1945. Theresa Muscat-Fenech spoke about the outbreak of war and the subsequent bombardments while her family had been living in Sliema. Her father had been appointed a Commissioner of Gozo and, as a result, the family had to relocate to the sister island, where she had experienced a sense of community with Gozitan children. She was not overly affected during the siege.
