              A photograph of an etching by Matteo Perez d'Aleccio (1547-1616) depicting the rout of the final Turkish expedition against Medina by the relief force on the 13th September 1565. After the relieving force of Don Garcia de Toledo had landed on the west side of the island, the Turks prepare to leave. In the central foreground is the fortress of Medina from which the Knights and relieving troops are driving the Turks north-west to their galleys. More Knights are coming from Birgu and St Michael.

              A photograph of two paintinga (frescos) of both 'The bombardment of the Post of Castille' and 'The assault upon the Post of Castille' which depict scenes from the Great Siege of Malta in 1565 displayed at the Palace of the Grand Master in Valletta. An additional picture showing 2 paintings in relation, also the balcony. This section is heavily restored and the balcony, said to be the bridge of one of the Order's ships, is not part of the original plan.

              A report by the algozino of the Galera Padrona, Alonsus Maldonato, concerning a certain slave of the galley who had either fallen or thrown himself from the walls of Senglea close to the slave prisons in the area, named Durach Mustafa Ogli Sapraborlondoni. The slave had died of the fall.
