              Franciscus Dimech and Alberto Zamit, buthcers from Valletta, accuse the known thief and recidivist Johannes Paulus Conti of having stolen some animals which they had left to graze in an enclosure belonging to Zamit in the vicinity of the church of Nostra Signora della' Pieta.

              Alessandro Cutajar from Zebbug reports that while he was in an enclosure of land he leased in the area of Tal-Pieta', he found a quantity of artichokes to have been stolen. He went to Valletta and found Gabriele Mamo with a large number of artichokes which he claimed to have bought from a woman from Siggiewi who did not know him, giving rise to suspicions. Mamo was obliged to observe a curfew.
