              Maria Mecapoli testfies that the late Bartholomeo Caloriti, canon of the Cathedral used to tell her and others that he had the full records of the procuratorship of the Cathedral of St Paul, as well as other records of the Cathedral, together with his own financial records at his house in Notabile. Later on the orders of Canon Alessandro Bologuit and Bishop Balaguer a search was made of the residence of Alessandro Bologna, where the records of the by-then deceased Caloriti were kept and many documents were there found. Other statements by Johannes Baptista Caloriti, Vincentia Sollima, Augustinus Fiteni from Valletta.
