In her second interview, Jean Borg described everyday life in the Giorgimpopoli neighbourhood of Tripoli as part of the only Maltese family living in a community including Arab and Jewish citizens. At seven years of age she had gotten seriously hurt in an accident which had forced her transfer to Santo Spirito Hospital in Rabat, Malta. Her convalescence there makes up the second part of the interview.
