In her first interview, Jean Borg describes how her family had to relocate to Tripoli, Libya due to her father's posting as part of the British Army's Royal Army Ordinance Corps (R.A.O.C.) She describes what everyday life was for her and her siblings and mentions the communal violence that was all too common in post-war Libya. She mentions her serious accident which forced her to go to Santo Spirito hospital in Rabat, Malta and she also speaks about the rundown and withdrawal of British forces from Malta.
