The extract includes several paragraphs with different titles, including ‘I- Innu tal- Banda Sliema’, It- Tejatrin tan Każin’, ‘Storbju sħiħ’, ‘L- Assedju l- Kbir’ and’ Zmien il- Karnival u l- Festa’. In the paragraphs the author is reminiscing his childhood while growing up in Sliema in the 1930s, prior to World War Two.
