Antonio Ellul and his son Giovanni Matteo are accused of theft. They are accused of approaching the imprisoned Giovanni Farrugia and threatened him with a fraudlent accusation of stealing crops from Antonio's land unless he paid them some money. Antonio was fined and Giovanni Matteo was exiled from Malta for 4 years or a fine of 30 uncia. The fine was reduced to 20 on appeal.
