He writes about his latest inventions: 1) an all steel apparatus ( portable weighs two & a half pounds) for the rapid sterilisation of water by chlorine gas 2) a collapsable paraffined tissue paper latrine receptacle(in shape like the Chinese lantern) for use in frontier campaign while transport difficulties are enormous.
