Doris was Maurice Mifsud Bonnici's younger sister. The latter would marry Loulou in 1955 and the union produced a boy, Mark. Loulou was in a black dress as she, along with her family, was mourning her mother's death. Eleonora Pizzuto nee Micaleff had died on 18th January, 1951.
