After Johannes's death, Thomas Mizzi was appointed tutor and curator for their young children Sperantia, Nicolao, Catherina and Giorgio, of whom Sperantia and Giorgio died, leaving their siblings Nicola and Catherina under the tutelage of Mizzi.
