Josephus Caruana from Casal Luqa is accused of assaulting and wounding Augustinus Xicluna with a knife as well as theft. The accused entered the vineyard of Bartolomeo Mallia in the area of Ta Luca Effleni to steal, and then also broke into the house of Domenico Briffa in Luqa to steal grain that was stored there, as well as some wood. He also broke into a building in the area Ta Filep in the same village belonging to Ludovico Imbrogl, from which he stole paglia. He also stole mischiato from Bernardino Briffa. He was sentenced to three years' rowing. Sentence confirmed on appeal.

Investigation into the theft of personal effects belonging to Genevra Ros by an unidentified Moorish slave.
UntitledRosa Maria, a servant in the service of the knight La Valletta, Governor of the Island of Gozo. He gave her a chest of clothing to be washed and money to cover the cost, but the key to it was taken when she left at home and left. She had it opened with the assistance of a locksmith in the presence of the knight, but they discovered that some things were missing. They accused Vincenza, a neophite slave of the same knight, who confessed to taking the key, the missing doppia di biancho and two genovine. The doppia was returned by the Parish Priest of Porto Salvo, to whom it was given by Vincenza in confession.
UntitledVincentius Madiona, from Valletta, an apothecary, reports that he needed to buy some birds of prey (uccelli di cacciai) and asked for them to a certain Michaele, pullalloro. On their way back they had a verbal altercation with a couple of men in the service of Rafaele Balsani and Madiona later found out that one of the men broke into Michaele's workspace and stole a couple of birds from him.
UntitledDomenico Bonnici, who was employed as a custodian of the Slaves' Prison, is accused of abusing of his position to sell property and goods belonging to the Order for personal gain. The court orders a full inventory to be taken of all his belonging in his house in Zebbug.
UntitledGiacobo Camilleri and Aloisio Colonica, procurators of the Ven. Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary in Valletta report that unknown persons had stolen a frame (quadretto) of silver from their altar in the Church of Our Lady of Porto Salvo as well as two gold bracelets from the painting, as well as other precious items. As well as the Ibrocatiglio Napolitano from the Tapestry which the friars had made for this chapel.
Similarly, the heirs of Isabella Buchaina, report that they found many items including furniture, jewels, contracts and other writings, jewels, money etc. to have been stolen as they were proceeding with the inventory.

Stephanus Bardagner, a Frenchman known as "Larosa" is accused of theft of jewelry, and specifically that he went to the house of Angelica Metaxi in the Manderaggio of Valletta with the excuse of inviting her to dinner together with her husband Giovanni to dinner, and while there he took and stole several pieces of jewelry (described). He was sentenced to row for life.
UntitledJosephus "Tirda" Seychel is accused of theft and Josephus Xiberras, owner of a jewelry shop in Valletta, of purchasing stolen goods. The theft concerned a jewel with diamonds. Seychel was also tortured for information. They were, however, acquitted.

UntitledIt is presented that the Neaopolitan Petrus Melandrino was hosted at the house of Franciscus Genovese in Vittoriosa and murdered his host in his sleep. He then stole all the money, gold and silver he could find before escaping. He then went to the house of Bernardina, a freedwoman of Stephanus Bartolo who have him shelter in return for a share of the stolen goods.
UntitledAntonino Sammut is accused of theft and of assisting the thief Thomas Farrugia and harbouring him. In September, Theodoro di Mathera had come to Malta from the kingdom of Sicily with two caches of mixed goods and was staying with Antonius in Burmula. A list of the textiles and other goods related to weaving contained in these chests is provided. Sammut is accused of stealing from them and then also of (together with Jacobus Virun, being both of them Sottovisconti of the MCC) abusing of his position to keep the thief Tomaso Farrugia hidden in a garden close to their home. They were also planning their escape from Malta.

When confronted, the accused lashed out with a knife. Witnesses interrogated Galdes was fined 5 uncia. The fine was confirmed on appeal to the SAU.
