The black and white image is a reproduction of a photo of the seventeenth or eighteenth century statue of the Immaculate Conception which is found at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore) in Milan, Italy. This statue is one of the two stucco statues placed on large marble polychrome pedestals on the landing between the two main flights of stairs and on the last landing. This image is a memento commemorating University Day 1958and the first centenary from the apparition of the Immaculate Conception in Lourdes to bernardette Soubirous in 1858. Overleaf, one finds two short prayers dedicated to the Immaculate Conception.
