Witness statements collected following a monitorium issued at the request of Isabella Farrugia. Julius Cassar from Zabbar testifies that while he was on his way from Valletta to Zabbar with Gratia Magro he was told by the same Gratia that when she was in Qrendi collecting donations for her son's ransom she was given 14 scudi by a woman praying in front of a painting and she was told that the following daty she would give her the rest of the sum of the ranson, but she was then not allowed to see the woman again later on. Philippus Schembri from Zabbar testifies that he was told the same by Gratia. Catharina Parmido from Zabbar, Marietta Venetiano, Victoria Habela from Valletta, and Lazzaro Veneziano from Valletta also testify.
