Paulo Fenech and Pauluccio Pace, both from Rabat in Malta, are accused of playing prohibited games and gambling at the Giardino della bruca. A search of Fenech's house also led to the discovery of forbidden weapons. Extensive interrogations. Fenech was sentenced to row for 5 years, and Pace for three years. The sentence was modified to three years with fines for both on appeal to the ACA.

Joannes Borg from Rabat accuses his nephew Maruzzio Borg from Zebbug of selling a sow ("troia") which Joannes had entruzted to Maruzzio's care without permission and to Martino the gardener of Tabnia. Witness statements were collected and Joannes retracted his accusations, and was in turn condemened to pay the court expenses .
