Scope and content
First few folios missing. Document commences with the interrogation of witnesses. Witnesses confirm that the document presented in Greek letters and language is in fact written by the Venetian Consul of the island of Milo, Filippo Beni. Other statements concerning the capture of a pollacca captained by a certain Tommaso are presented. The pollacca was illegally captured and looted during corso by the vessel of the Frenchman Franciscus de Robertis Seglian. Seglian is accused of falsely claiming that the captured loot belonged to Turks, when it actually belonged to Greek Christians. The case was then referred by the MCC to the TRA. The claim was not upheld and Seglian was freed.
