The pastel coloured image depicts the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A quote from the the Gospel of John 17:17 reads " Sanctify them by[d] the truth; your word is truth." Overleaf one finds a black and white image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and underneath, written in old Maltese, one finds a 'receipt' for the donation given for the building of the Church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Casal Paola as a momument for the International Eucharistic Congress which was held in Malta in April 1923.
