              It is presented that the Neaopolitan Petrus Melandrino was hosted at the house of Franciscus Genovese in Vittoriosa and murdered his host in his sleep. He then stole all the money, gold and silver he could find before escaping. He then went to the house of Bernardina, a freedwoman of Stephanus Bartolo who have him shelter in return for a share of the stolen goods.

              Antonino Sammut is accused of theft and of assisting the thief Thomas Farrugia and harbouring him. In September, Theodoro di Mathera had come to Malta from the kingdom of Sicily with two caches of mixed goods and was staying with Antonius in Burmula. A list of the textiles and other goods related to weaving contained in these chests is provided. Sammut is accused of stealing from them and then also of (together with Jacobus Virun, being both of them Sottovisconti of the MCC) abusing of his position to keep the thief Tomaso Farrugia hidden in a garden close to their home. They were also planning their escape from Malta.

              Martinus Abela as curator of Margerita widow of the deceased Mattheus Abela, the other heir of the intestate and deceased Giuliano Cassia her brother explains how through a contract made by Notary Brandano de Caxaro (04/01/1542) a certain Johannes Borg remained indebted over his tenure of the garden Di Santo Martini towards this Cassia and he is now seeking to collect on the usufruct of these debts.
