A photograph of an etching by Matteo Perez d'Aleccio (1547-1616) depicting the attack on the spur of St Michael (today known as Isla, Senglea) in which the Christians sank six large and four small Turkish boats, and took a Turkish frigate prisoner, together with some Turks, capturing six Turkish standards.
