Antonio Borg (benivoglia on the Santo Nicola) and Giovanni Maria Pace (benivoglia on the San Pietro) are accused of theft. They are accused of having removed part of the roofing of the bottega of Luca Zahra in Senglea, descended through it and stolen various goods including coings, iron and cloth material and other worked cloths. They then stowed away their stolen goods one in Corradino and the other in the area of San Giovanni ta' Huxa.

While the Order's galley San Pietro was in Messina, the Corporal Pietro Psayla and the musketeer Francesco Mifsud fired their muskets to salute the Papal standard, as was customary, but discovered they were shot upon, the corporal in the chest, and the musketeer in the foot, for which they received treatment at the hospital of Messina. Psayla later died of his wounds. Suspicion fell upon Marcello de Vincentio, a soldier aboard the San Nicola, which was also in Messina as the galleys of the Order were away on Corso. Francesco Donato, a buonavoglia rower aboard the San Pietro, reports that while he was in front of the Auberge of Italy with other rowers, he was attacked by another rower called Mattoe Nobili, to whom he had owed money but payed his full debt, because he refused to go with him into the Auberge.

Leonardo Mifsud, nightwatchman of the MCC testifies seeing the soldier Francesco Tabone attacking the son of Giuseppe Borg because he had touched his sword. Mifusd saw that Tabone was drunk and arrested him. They found an illegal knife (coltello) hidden upon his person. Other witness statements.

Giovanni Paulo Farrugia, soldier aboard the Orders's San Petro formally testifies that after they had captured six vessels, several soldiers went aboard one of the enemy vessels and he was attacked by a fellow soldier called Domizio Rizzo, a Sicilian from the same San Pietro.

Lucio Schembri, pilota of the San Pietro reports that when they had left this port the vessel suffered some issues that needed repairing and while they were busy repairing this, the vessel captained by Michele Maynard ran into them.
