Felice Petro, a buonavoglia rower on the Santi Giovanni e Paulo, and Joannes de Piazza, a buonavoglia rower on the San Nicola, are accused of desertion for failing to report for duty for a voyage made by their galleys together with a captured Turkish vessel to Sicily. They are sentenced to ten years' rowing.

Giuseppe Bonello is accused that during the month of Augusti, being captain of an armed vessel here in Malyta called "Madonna delle Grazie, e Santi Pietro e Paolo" for the corso, sailed from Malta for the same corso under the flag of the Order, sailed in the area of Barbary, came across and captured many vessels sailing from the East and from regions suspect of contagion, and of then sailing to Sicily to the coast of Mallara and forcing himself onto the vessel of Sicilian sailors, in spite of the danger of contagion, and exchanging goods with them for fish, and then of coming across the vacated boats of the same sailors and stealing from them their nets. He was exiled from all of Malta for one whole and continuous year.

Francesco Muscat from Casal Qormi is accused of breaching the conditions of his sentence of exile from Malta and Gozo to Sicily. He was sentenced to rowing on one of the Order's galleys with bound feet and against no pay for six years. On appeal this was moderated to three years.

Thomas de Floro from Burmula testifies that he he and other had gone to Sicily to Marsala to buy the vessel called La Gran Croce di Malta. Both Antonio Calleya and Battista Dalli had been there and Floro had seen Dalli hide pieces of metal. He was later told that a Giuseppe Favignanese had bought these from Dalli in return for grain, and other foodstuffs.
