Vincenzo de Guevara from Mosta is accused of fraud by presenting high quality grain to the jurats for evaluation, claiming that he had a certain amount of it, hiding the fact that some of this quantity was of a considerably lower quality, and then selling the whole as high quality grain, using the jurats' confirmation as proof. He was originally sentenced to a term in prison, but due to his old age, the sentence was commuted to a fine. He appealed the fine but it was confirmed.
