Naval Works Department, Admiralty Office - GOODThe picture shows St Paul standing with the sword and Holy Bible in his hand and the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls (San Paolo fuori le Mura) which is found in Rome depicted in the background. The image is a memento commemorating the opening of the celebrations to make the nineteenth centenary since St Paul was shipwrecked in Malta. The opening of these celebrations was held at the Mdina Cathedral, on the feast of St Paul's conversion.
