The black and white image is a photo of the famous Franciscan friar Fra Diego Bonanno. Fra Diego Bonanno was born in Valletta in 1831. After joining the Order of Friars Minor as a lay brother, he embarked on the noble apostolate of collecting funds to provide suitable lodgings for difficult and abandoned girls. In 1905, he opened an institute in Hamrun (still in existence known as Ta’ Fra Diegu) to serve as a home for hundreds of girls. His saintly aim was to restore dignity and peace to prostitutes, the sick, the poor and the orphaned. In fact many despised him and even threatened him with death for his good work. The image is a memento commemorating the fiftieth anniversary from the death of Fra Diego. It was published by the Director of the Institute in the name of the children who were given care and support in this place.
The black and white image depicts a portrait of Our Lady of Damascus in Maltese known as Damaxxena, which was brought to Malta by the Knights when expelled from Rhodes in 1530. Today this icon is found at the Greek Church in Valletta. It is a memento of the coronation celebration of this famous icon. Overleaf one finds a prayer dedicated to Our Lady.

Underneath this picture there is a quote from the Miserere, Holy, strong and immortal God hae mercy on us. Verbum Dei caro factum est means The Word of God made flesh. Lastly, there is the axiom "Christ conquers, Christ reigns, Christ commands."
The A4 image portrays an official photo of Rev. Fr Giuseppe Muscat. This same image is an invitation to all Hamrun parishioners to attend his mass of thanksgiving on his twenty-fifth anniversary since he became Parish Priest. Besides mass, the Papal Benediction would be inparted, and an indulgence gained.
