Ibrahim Iusfogli reports that while he was in a bottega in Valletta in the area of the butchers, he asked one of them how much a head of mutton cost and when he refused to buy it because of the price the seller struck him in the head, causing him injuries for which he needed to receive medical treatment. The seller Paulo Damato was pardoned for the crime.

Xaban bin Lexi from Tunis, slave of the Order serving aboard the Galera Capitanea reports that he was wounded in his head by another slave called Ibrahim from the galera San Antonio, who would have continued hitting him had he not been pushed away by a third slave called Mohammed. He required medical attention.
