Part of Law Courts Miscellaneous
Top part of the document missing throughout, compromising understanding. Fra Antonius Consalvo de Torres confirms that he had travelled to Spain on San Paulus and sailed away from Spain on the San Jacobus, on which there was a gold cross and other things which he left in the care of Simon Miranda. Torres was then captured as a slave and Miranda had applied the value of the goods towards investments etc without Torres' permission and he was suing accordingly.
