Commercial partners Arrigo Zerafa from Burmula and Giovanni Antonio Greg explain that they had an ongoing case against Antonaccio Greg at the MCC. In light of this they make a formal deposition that Zerafa had given Antuniaccio four empty barrels which were to be filled with olive oil in Messina, to which Antuniaccio was sailing with his frigate. Money was also given to cover purchase and delivery. Antunaccio was also to bring another four barrels to be sold to Zerafa at cost. However, Antunaccio returned and sold all eight barrels to third parties and kept all the money himself.

Cesare Passalacqua as procurator of the Common Treasury of the Order reports that Beatrice Cagliares had donated 1,000 scudi to the Canon Giovanni Baptista Cagliares, which she claimed to have previously lent to Bishop Cagliares, since deceased. She later qualified that there had been no such loan and that she had been compelled to make the donation, and that the money belonged to the spoglio of the deceased Bishop, and so to the Order.

On the reverse the same is done for Vincenzo Abela from Valletta for a contract in the acts of Not. Thomas Agius (16/11/1642).

Giovanni Xicluna from Siġġiewi requests absolution from his oath given in a contract between himself and the spouses Matteolo and Catherina Xicluna on the one side, and Catherina widow of Geronimo Caruana from Zebbug on the other, concerning the subjugation of annual income, in the acts of Not. Bernardo Azzupard (23 August 1606). As well as a similar contract between himself and Paulina, widow of Giuseppe Dingli from Siġġiewi in the acts of the same notary (30/03/1619). Likewise in a similar contract of fideiussio with Consalvo Farrugia and Consalvo Calleja from Zebbug in the acts of Not. Gio Batta Azzuppard (23/01/1629). And others. Permission is granted, allowing Xicluna to prosecute the other parties for their shortcomings.
