Don Franciscus Piscopus, parish priest of Zabbar, testifies that ever since he had taken possession of the parish, a certain Gregorio Barbara had always paid him three tari to carry the wine and hazelnut (?nucilla) on the feast day of the Annunciation, from which he had understood that there had been some obligation on him to do so, but had since learnt that he did this out of personal devotion. Witness statement by Notary Joannes Lucas Mamo that when he was notary of the Episcopal Court in 1655, the year of the Diocesan Visit of Bishop Balaguer, he was made aware that the people of Balzan had asked the Bishop to be separated from the parish of Birkirkara, which he had done, and he further testifies that Don Giovanni Battista Zarb, Parish priest of Birkirkara, had not opposed this, and that his brother Don Adriano Zarb was made the first parish priest of Balzan, and other matters concerning the establishment of a new parish in Balzan. Joseph Piantanida from Valletta testifies that about six months before Giovanni Fiol had come to his bottega in Valletta and asked Pinatnida's slave if he had received money from a Maltese farmer (gabellotto) but the slave replied that the gabellotto had given the money to the Secreto, who had given it to him for safekeeping but had since re-collected the money. The same was asked of the slave some time later by another Maltese person.

Gratoius Hellul from Valletta testifies that on the feast day of St Martin (11/11/1663) he had been a soldier on the vessel of Cav. Vrennville and they found a saica laden with wood (legname di galbo e di legna da tingere) and looted it but it was discovered that the crew were all Greek and Christian, but they were made to disembark on Scarpanto. Commendatariu Fra Franciscus Sceltres de Coumins, knight of the Order, testifies that when he was in the Levant when Vecchia was also at sea there on his vessel, and that he had heard that Vecchia had made no considerable captures. He also testifies that it was normal for corsairing vessels which find themselves without victuals in the Levant to purchase provisions from the Venetian Republic and its agents in the area, without complaint from the armatori and investors. Thomas de Floro from Burmula testifies that he he and other had gone to Sicily to Marsala to buy the vessel called La Gran Croce di Malta. Both Antonio Calleya and Battista Dalli had been there and Floro had seen Dalli hide pieces of metal. He was later told that a Giuseppe Favignanese had bought these from Dalli in return for grain, and other foodstuffs.

Victoria widow of Marcus Mamo from Valletta testifies that when Dr Carolus Gascon was bedbound he was taken by Johannes Antonius Falzon to his house. Fazon had taken two mattresses and other things from the house of Gascon (described). He took other things from the house after the death of Gascon. Maria Mecapoli testfies that the late Bartholomeo Caloriti, canon of the Cathedral used to tell her and others that he had the full records of the procuratorship of the Cathedral of St Paul, as well as other records of the Cathedral, together with his own financial records at his house in Notabile. Later on the orders of Canon Alessandro Bologuit and Bishop Balaguer a search was made of the residence of Alessandro Bologna, where the records of the by-then deceased Caloriti were kept and many documents were there found. Sperantia Azzuppardo from Pasqualino testfies that about a monhth before she was at the Muraglia close to her house and heard a pig and the cries of some children and she saw Mariuzzo Zahra and his boy Giovanni and another boy called Alessando and other throwing stones at the pig, which eventually managed to esape into the house of a certain Maria, greviously wounded.

Dominicus Brunet from Fort St Elmo testifies that Mariuzza, his wife, had sold a residential building in Rabat to the priest Don Domenico Farrugia her cousin and told him that if they ever wanted the housing back, the priest was happy to return it on a refund of the paid 5 scudi. Joseph Schembri from Gudia testifies that Vincenzo Sacco from the same village had told him that he had brough from Senglea a decorated chest belonging to Maria Tanti to be delivered to her sister who lived in Gudia. Ambrosius Zimegh from Zebbug testifies that when he was working with Filippo Felice in his shoe-maker's workshop he had seen him buy shoe-shapes for his bottega and other tools for the workshop after he had signed the contract of marriage with the daughter of Maria Camilleri. It is elsewhere reported that Maria had recently married her daughter Ubaldesca to Filippo Felice, whose parents had promised to provide in dowry a residental place in Zebbug in return for half the usufruct of some land in Casal Cuden, but this had not yet come to pass.

Catherinutia Sant from Valletta testfies that she had always lived in Valletta in the area of St Sebastian and that she was a neighbour of Angelo Zerafa and of Giovanni Battista Santa Maura, and that a certain Pietro had recently died there following the death of his wife Paula. She also knew that Paola had bought a Turkish slave to exchange him for her son Battista Napoleone who had been captured by Turks. Paschalis Azzoppard, from Zebbug, testifies that he had heard that Julio Schembri was claiming to have been attacked and wounded by Domenico Mifsud.
