The Law Courts Miscellania is a fond containing loose documentation arising from the juridical activities of the various courts and tribunals operating in the Maltese islands during the Order of St John Period, from the arrival of the Order in Malta in 1530 to their departure in 1798. The cases heard before these courts provide valuable information about different aspects of general, commercial and military life in Malta. Most documentation in this collection is in Latin and Italian, but documentation in other languages such as Spanish, French, Arabic and Greek is occasionally included.

Giovanni Pasquale on his ship, which vessel was engaged in Corso in the Golfo di Sfachez off the coast of Barbary, and specifically when it was moored at Cagliari in the Kingdom of Sardinia. Joannes de Marco and Hieronimus Pollacco are hanged in public and then their bodies torn from into four parts and each part affixed in the usual places. Antonius Manes, Honoratus Melem, and Carolum Labergia were sentenced to row for life. Nicolaus Poloroditi, Antonius Moso, and Salvatore Thesorere sentenced to row for 5 years.
Senza titoloThe body of a certain Magdalena Bosa was discovered and taken to the parish church of Porto Salvo in Valletta. It was presumed that she had been poisoned. The suspicion was confirmed when her mother Alexandra and 5-year old nephew Claudio Laman, who had eaten of the same meal also took ill. Eventually suspicion fell on her father Salvatore Bosa. The slaves Machamed Oghli and Ali Hali Oghli were accused of complicity. The motive was that Salvatore wanted to access Alexandra's inheritance. Salvatore Busa was found guilty, sentenced to be hanged and quartered. The slaves were sentenced to be hanged and their bodies left exposed to the elements.
