Scope and content
The pale-coloured image depicts the Last Supper and on the forefront one finds the symbols of the Holy Eucharist - the Chalice, the Host, wines and wheat. The image is a memento commemorating the First Holy Communion held at Tarxien on the fiftieth anniversary since the founding of the Societas Doctrinae Christianae, known as the M.U.S.E.U.M. Overleaf, at the top, one finds the motto of this Society - 'Verbum Dei caro factum est' meaning 'TheWord of God became flesh.'
