Scope and content

The brown-coloured image is a reproduction of the famous painting by the Dominican friar Fra Angelico (+1455) namely "The Coronation of the Virgin." it shows Christ crowning His Mother Mary at the top of a staircase. The scene has angels watching and playing musical instruments, as saints witness the coronation taking place. The saint facing the viewer is the Dominican St Thomas Aquinas, showing a Bible opened on the Psalms. This image is a memento of the International Congress of Religious, held in Rome on the occasion of the Jubilee Year. In the middle pages, printed in brown ink like the image, one finds two prayers - one asking for evangelical perfection and the other dedicated to the Immaculate Virgin Mary. On the back page, there is written in pencil "Budini Mingoli."
