When the British dissolved the Comitato Permanente Universitario, their records were fragmented. Some of them found their home with Ganado, Albert , 1924- . The records which the NAM acquired through the Friends of the National Archives of Malta (FNAM) are those which were at Albert Ganado’s residence.

Acquisition by the Friends of the National Archives of Malta from Albert Ganado.

A collection of records of the Comitato Permanente Universitario, including minutes of meetings and correspondence. The collection includes a sizeable collection of publications related to the operations of the University of Malta from the late 18th century.

This Fonds was divided in 3 Series to represent: the original manuscripts with meeting minutes of the Comitato Permanente Universitario (Series MNU); the booklets which were collected together with the collection and are related to the University of Malta (Series BKL); and other miscellaneous items (Series MISC).
