The pastel-coloured image depicts a Cross with a Rosary bead around its base, with the Holy Bible decorated with flowers. It is a memento pertaining to Alfonso Leopardi as a member of the "Istituto Maltese di Concezione Cattolica" at St James' Church in Valletta. In fact, the prayer at the front is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This memento is signed in black ink by Can. C. Schembri, Director of the said Institute.
