(4) Is it true that in the past not all those who passed the exam entered the Lyceum because of the small size of the School? (5) If in truth you have taken the necessary steps that this will not happen again?

Dr. Mizzi - Asks the Minister of Education: In relation to the answer that he gave in the parliamentary sitting of the 18th of October, 1948, for the question No. 463 about the theft of Manuscripts from the Public Library if the report by the Board that made the inquest regarding this theft has been presented, and in the affirmative case, when was it presented and if He can table a copy in parliament.

Dr Mizzi - Asks the Minister of Education: Where and how are the tapestries of the Con Cathedral of St. John preserved, and if because of where they are kept, because of the way they are dusted and because of other reasons, those tapestries have received considerable damages. If in the affirmative, what action was taken or thinks of taking to ensure the right preservation and repair of that artistic and historical heritage which is truly priceless.
*4 Dr Mizzi - Asks the minister of Education: (1) If he can make a statement about the state of the Magisterial Palace Armoury and explain why, a long time after the end of the war it is still in a deplorable state, and what steps has he taken or intends for the government to take to turn it into its pristine condition and ameliorate possibly its condition. (2) How much has the Government spent on the Armoury from the financial year 1943-44 till today, and in what has he spent these sums? (3) Is it true that several objects from the Armoury are damaged and others missing from it? In the affirmative case, for what reason and where are they?

Mr Cassar - To ask the Minister of Education: Could the Hon. the Minister state with what success has his latest visit to a farm in Notabile Road, Qormi, intended to be converted into a few class-rooms for Primary School pupils living in St Sebastian Parish, been met? Is the Government prepared to take over another suitable alternative accommodation for children of infant stages living in the Parish of St Sebastian on account of their having to travel a long distance to arrive at the "Big School" where classes are overcrowded with children?
