The National Archives of Malta preserves and maintains a large number of records concerning the history of Malta, and provides access to them for research. Archival records come in many media, shape, size and format including paper files, letters, handwritten bound volumes, printed records, photographs, maps, architectural drawings, oral history recordings, microfilm, floppy discs, CDs, cassettes, reels and DVDs.
