Dr Agius Muscat - Asks the Minister for Education: In which classes, in the Elementary Schools, is music being taught? In whose hands is this being assigned? What are the qualifications of the assigned?
Dr Agius Muscat = To ask the Minister of Education: What kind of instructive apparatus exists in the Government Elementary Schools to render lessons on Religion, Geography and History interesting and easy to children? Is the Hon. Minister ready to see that each of these schools will be furnished with these apparata in the needed quantity?
Dr Mizzi - Asks the Minister of Education: In which parts of Malta and Gozo is the Government thinking of building new School; In which parts are there no schools at present; how many of these are close to other places with Schools, and what is the scholastic population were there are Schools at present.

Dr. Caruana, - Asks the Minister for Education if the Government is aware of the scarcity of furniture in government schools especially blackboards and student benches. And if aware, what remedial action has been taken for this state of affairs?
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education the number of children in Government Schools that have been inoculated against (i) diphteria, (ii) whooping cough, (iii) typhoid fever; what is the number of children who are receiving (a) milk, (b) cod liver oil, (c) other nourishment; whether any expense is being incurred by the children for this, and in the affirmative, what is such expense.
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education the number of weekly hours that Religious doctrine is taught in the Government Schools and in what classes.
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education what is the number of children on the waiting list for entrance to the Government Schools in (a) Malta, (b) Gozo, and the number of boys in each; what are the causes that debar the entrance of such children to school.
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education what is the number of male and female head teachers respectively in (1) Malta, (2) Gozo, and the number of teachers male and female respectively in (a) Malta and (b) Gozo.
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education whether physical training is taught in Government Schools, and in the affirmative what weekly hours are reserved for such training and in what classes; whether the teacher is a qualified physical training instructor, and how many physical training instructors are there in the Government Elementary Schools.
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education whether there are any children who are receiving free books and other school requisites, and in the affirmative, their number and on what criteria.
Dr. Hyzler, - To ask the Minister for Education whether there are any vacancies in the teaching staff of the Government Primary Schools, and in the affirmative, why such vacancies are not filled.
Dr. Mizzi asks the Minister for Education:- (1) How many books were acquired from the Public Library from November 1933 to 4th November, 1947, and how many were (a) in Maltese; (b) in Italian; (c) in English or (d) in any other language? (2) How many books were acquired from the Public Library from 4th November, 1947 until today and how many/ ......................
Dr. Mizzi, - Asks the Minister for Education: If in the interest of the general public and the arts in particular (Comprising the interest of Maltese artists and Musicians) thinks of doing his best and insisting so that reconstruction of the Royal Theater is finished by next year.
